Electric Love Festival in Salzburg, Austria, was a very eye opening experience. One EDM didn’t really know what to expect at this European Camping Festival. We were in awe with the 181,000 people attending over three days in the town of Salzburg, Austria. Electric Love truly united all festival attendees with a talented lineup that featured Dubstep, Electro, Techno, Drum and Bass, and Hardstyle.

The Stages

Mainstage

Q-Dance

The Q-Dance stage, which was slightly smaller than the Main Stage but had a more intricate center design that was shaped like a birds head. The stage hosted an array of the most recognized Hardstyle acts in the world: Brennan Heart, Frequencerz, Noisecontrollers and Charly Lownoise & Mental Theo. The finale from this stage was one of the most breathtaking productions in comparison to other major events around the world.

Club Circus

The Club Circus Stage was curated differently every night. The first night was dubbed “The Pussy Lounge” and featured artists such as Kutski, The Viper and Paul Elstak. Night two was filled with bass as Flux Pavilion headlined and Pendulum closed out the night under the Club Circus London theme. The final night was Club Circus Berlin, which brought of the best techno and tech-house beats with local artists such as Tanja Le Chains to world renowned artists like Dubfire and Paul Kalkbrenner to close the festival.

Heineken Starclub

The Heineken Starclub was an enclosed two-story club that was located at the back of the race track by the carnival rides. This stage had an incredible sound system and featured artist like Pete Sabo & Violin Denniz, Avadox, and Who Knows.

Unique to this stage was Heineken doing a 30-minute stage takeover, twice each night. The crowd picked the tracks they wanted to listen to via a wristband watch. This stage was a full house all festival, especially during both storms that occurred on Friday and Saturday. Every stage at the 5th annual Electric Love Festival was unique and incredible in their own way.

The Grounds

Electric Love was beautiful because they created an environment that allowed for plenty of space for a large festival while still keeping the vibe of a smaller festival.  When we first entered the festival, it reminded us of a mini EDC Las Vegas; the race track, the carnival rides and the gigantic main stage.

The Love

The sense of community at Electric Love quickly separated themselves from our first glance. This festival appealed to the wants and needs of every festival attendee. One EDM is proud to be a part of the Electric Love Family and we can’t wait for the 6th annual Electric Love Festival: July 5, 6, 7, 2018.

Last but not least, more of this, please.
