With festival season just around the corner, Steel Yard London, one of the UK’s newest events on the festival landscape, touches down in Victoria Park in London. It’s set for Sunday, May 28th 2017 for an all-day dance fest that’s set to lay down the marker for the season ahead.
The award winning Steel Yard Superstructure was designed and created exclusively for Creamfields Festival in 2016 and features ground breaking technology and production. The colossal and immense superstructure has since become a unique destination structure, the largest of its kind in Europe and has revolutionized the event experience for all electronic music fans.
Returning to the capital to headline this all-day event is one of the world’s biggest electronic duo’s Axwell /\ Ingrosso. The Swedish duo were last seen in London at their sold out Alexandra Palace show in 2015 so a return to the UK capital is long overdue. The pair has always professed a lot of love for the support they have received in the UK so this show is set to be big.
Third ≡ Party makes a welcome return to the Steelyard stage. This show kicks off a jammed packed summer filled with big performances for these Essex boys. It’s worth getting in early to hear these guys perform as you can expect a very generous helping of tracks from their outstanding debut album “Hope“.
Don Diablo joins the listing for the London edition of Steelyard. The Dutch DJ currently sits at #15 on the DJ Mag Top 100 list and has caused quite a stir in recent days with the release of his remix of The Chainsmokers and Coldplay’s track “Something Just Like This”, not to mention his own collab with Marnik “Children of a Miracle” that has received widespread support and is a big and overwhelming track.
Martin Solveig offers his sound once again for the pleasure of the UK crowd. Having performed at Steelyard Liverpool late last year, despite the low temperatures, the French DJ had the superstructure warmed up perfectly with his smooth mixes. It looks like we’ll be hearing much more from Martin as he recently announced the return of his hugely successful “My House” residency at Pacha Ibiza this summer.
To top proceedings off in grand style, a very special DJ set by the legendary Faithless completes the line-up and is guaranteed to bring the old school vibe.
