The atmosphere is just so perfect for electronic dance music duo to make their set perfect. Some people might even mistake them for the band Smog. I think that might be a bad thing.
Smog has a style all its own. Their music sounds like it’s coming straight out of a ’70s acid trip. Bored And Lonely on the other hand, sounds more along the lines of something from a John Carpenter film. Which isn’t exactly a bad thing.
What makes the electronic dance music duo different from Smog is the singer. Laura Jane Fox, better known as Laura J, rocks out on her own. Her voice has a hard rock sound to it, much like she does on her solo albums. Her music is catchy and loud, yet never annoying like most singers can be.
With their background in the punk rock era, Laura Jane Fox and her amazing voice have definitely made quite an impact. I am sure her music helped shape the sound of many other bands. I am sure her impact will continue to grow. The electronic dance music duo definitely has the future and the popularity to prove it.

Now they have expanded to include several musicians, but their primary song and still their best known song is still “olla”. Even though they have had guest musicians on past records, they have remained true to their electronic dance music style.
