Winter X Games Returns To Buttermilk Mountain With Amazing 2018 Lineup

Get ready for the 2018 Winter X Games in Aspen
Who’s ready to watch some talented winter sports action, and then warm up on the dance floor with some amazing music and beautiful people? We definitely are! The annual Winter X Games is on the horizon January 25th-28th, and fans of the event will be able to do just that. As per tradition, they’re hosting a myriad of premier musical talent to get down and shake your booty to each day.

The Winter X Games takes place at Buttermilk Mountain Ski Resort in Aspen, Colorado, and will continue to call the venue home through 2019. Plans for its future home have yet to be announced. The event takes on a festival vibe combining both winter extreme sports and music to create the perfect winter party atmosphere. The sporting event is free, however, the music event is not. The music lineup for the event is star-studded and will keep every onlooker entertained. Fans can warm up with Martin Garrix on the 26th, Method Man & Redman, and LCD Soundsystem on the 27th, and then close out the weekend with rising star Marshmello on the 28th.
Winter X Games Concert Schedule
Martin Garrix – Friday, January 26th
Martin Garrix is nothing short of a musical prodigy. He began making music at just 8 years old. He was then inspired to join the dance music community watching Tiesto play Traffick at the Athens Olympic Games. Not only did he accomplish academic success graduating from production school, but he now heads his own record label, STMPD RCRDS, and has topped the Billboard charts. Expect Garrix to do what he’s always done and leave fans breathless with the insatiable urge to dance.
Method Man & Redman – Apres Saturday, January 27th
Having been around since the early ninties, this duo definitely knows their way around a mic. With a mountain of releases together, Method Man & Redman are a staple of the Def Jam label. They have even been featured on tracks with Tupac, Snoop Dogg, Eminem and many of Hip Hops other greats.
LCD Soundsystem – Saturday, January 27th
Alternative dance-rock band LCD Soundsystem has made a legendary name for itself. Originally producing music from 2002-2011, the group disbanded and then reunited again in 2015. Furthermore, they went on to release its fourth studio album in September 2017. The album, ‘American Dream’, reached number one in the United States. It was also nominated for a Grammy for the Best Alternative Music Album. Expect this group of musical masterminds to leave you stunned!
Marshmello – Sunday, January 28th
Rising EDM mystery DJ Marshmello is quickly proving to be a force to be reckoned with. He’s hit the decks at some of the biggest festivals on the planet. He also has a myriad of collaborations with the likes of Selena Gomez, Khalid, and tons of other amazing artists. Be prepared for a wild closing night with fans that won’t want to stop dancing, ’cause this act never fails to deliver.
