Camp Bisco Just One Day Away; Attendees begin preparation

It’s here everyone; The most anticipated music festival in the North East Region is just one day away. With that being said, there has been some last second information that Camp Bisco added that is really important to know. From a new Renegade stage, map layouts, new artists and set times, all will be covered.

Camp Bisco has come out with an app that allows you to create your own personal schedule and plan out your times perfectly. The only thing is, who can be two places at once? Thursday, which will be the first official day of music. GRiZ will play the Electric City stage, and Slushii will be playing at the Above the Waves stage. Both at 11:30 PM, the app is showing GRiZ has almost 5,000 attendees scheduled. Slushii with almost 1500.

Another mashup scheduled is on Friday between Twiddle(11:15pm) and Bassnectar(11:30pm). Again with one artist at the main Electric City stage and the other at Above the waves. A tip from experience that I found to work well was going to the earlier set time and then heading over to the later one half way through to see the end. The main stage and the waves stage are not that far apart so just be ready to take a quick walk.

Now, let’s talk about something new to Camp Bisco this year that wasn’t exactly “official” last year. The Renegade Stage; This is a stage, a bus, and a party all in one. Last year many had the opportunity to be setup right across from the Jaenga Bus in the RV lots, and they would’ve never guessed the outcome. Over 15 artists including GRiZ, Slushii, Subtronics, and many more threw down awesome late night sets. With such success, Camp Bisco decided to make it an official stage. So don’t miss these late night sets.

Montage Mountain is a vast venue with a lot going on. So it’s easy to mix up the stages or where vendors are for first-timers. Luckily, Camp Bisco has that app with a downloadable map to help guide you wherever. The app is available for both Android and iOS. There will be phone charging stations set up by the showers. Anyone who wants to take a hot shower will have to fork up $5 and probably stand in line for awhile so it’s wise to be prepared. Located in the center of the map are tons of food and merchandise vendors. Also randomly throughout the grounds will be yoga by the wave pool, stretching sessions in the lawn, and a 5k road race with the founders and Disco Biscuit’s bassist himself.

All in all this is going to be one for the books. Whether you’re under the main stage pavilion looking up at the projected lights. Head banging in the wave pool while heavy dub step plays in the distance. Relaxing on your float in the lazy river. Or chilling at your campsite surrounded by old friends and meeting new ones. Get ready for the time of your life. The weather in NEPA can be unpredictable, but so far it’s looking nice. From experience, you’re going to need to hydrate. Water is a major life saver and for those with VIP passes you get it for free. Inclusively, if you see someone in need please throw them a bottle.

Below is a link to download the Camp Bisco App if you haven’t already. We’ll see you there.
