Chris Lake Pumped It Up Once More at The Midway

The 'Black Book Records' label head once again hosted another 'Black Book Block Party'.

Chris Lake is one of the world’s top house producers and his fame is continuing to enhance with each banger he releases. The British artist, whose top hits include “Turn Off The Lights”, “Boneless”, and “A Drug From God”, is also the head of his music label, Black Book Records. Last year, at The Midway in San Francisco, he co-hosted a fantastic “Black Book Block Party” with Chris Lorenzo. On November 12th of this year, Chris Lake returned to The Midway with another jamming’ “Black Book Block Party”. Here is a review of this year’s “Black Book Block Party”, another festive event with outstanding house music.

Chris Lake “Turned On The Lights” at The Midway

Before the Black Book Records founder went on stage, the fans were still treated to amazing house music from these equally-awesome artists. Hank K, Lauren Lane, AMÉMÉ, and Dennis Ferrer brought out chill vibes to the crowd who expected another memorable block party just like last year’s. When Chris Lake came on to perform at the “Black Book Block Party”, the crowd went wild once more and danced until the lights “turned off” at The Midway.

The Midway has always been a hotbed for headlining great dance music acts such as Jauz, Gorgon City, and John Digweed. Chris Lake is no exception and just like at last year’s Block Party, he once again provided an unforgettable event that got everyone dancing from start to finish. One can only imagine how the atmosphere will be like at the 2023 edition of the Block Party.

Upcoming tour dates

On December 29th, he will fly to Washington D.C. and perform at Echostage. Then on December 30th, he will perform at the Colorado Convention Center in Denver. Finally, he will excite the San Diego crowd on New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day by performing at PROPER NYE/NYD.
