Colorado local talent featured at Global Dance Festival 2017!

Global Dance Festival 2017 is almost here and we are gearing up for two unforgettable nights in the Mile High City. This year, Global Dance is bringing you all of your favorite electronic acts from Hardwell, native to Amsterdam Netherlands, Ganja White Night from Brussels, Belgium and the legendary Mt. Eden all the way from New Zealand.
But who are the local talent? Colorado being a hub in the world of music and a concentrated frame for electronic artists in the United States, makes way for Global Dance Festival to add these Denver locals to an already outstanding roster of talent!

Freddy Rule
First up, Global Dance Festival returning artist, Freddy Rule – A Dirtybird and Night Bass inspired producer who is always DTF – “Down to Funk” that is.. Freddy Rule is turning heads in the house music community with his unique underground tech house style. Rule was recently voted the #2 DJ in Colorado for 2016 by Electronic Colorado and is truly living up to the name. He is also known for throwing outrageous after parties out of his very own home here in Denver. Freddy Rule is sure to give you that Colorado bass welcome at the Northern Lights Stage on Saturday, July 22nd!

Adam Stark
Born in Fort Collins, Adam Stark is a true Colorado native who aims to conjure the Denver music scene on an emotional level. Stark was influenced at a young age by the progressive electronic culture; his inspirations deriving from top EDM artists such as trance icon Paul Van Dyk and the timeless Tiesto. Despite early struggles in his career, Adam Stark has propelled his name, creating ties with Beta Nightclub and performing at major venues in Colorado including Red Rocks! We can’t wait to see what this driven producer has in store for us at the Tundra stage on Saturday, July 22nd.

Ecotek
Originally from Athens, Greek prodigy Kostas Kouremenos AKA Ecotek created new roots in the beautiful state of Colorado and has since become one of the most prominent electronic acts in the Denver community. Kostas has played alongside some of the biggest names in EDM including Deadmau5, Armin Van Buuren and Axwell. His high energy performance landed him regular performances in venues all over the state including a residency at the world renowned Beta Nightclub. Being a Global Dance Festival veteran, we highly encourage you to check out the atmospheric, deep house local legend at the Global Summit Stage on Saturday, July 22nd!

Trajikk
Nominated for Best Dance DJ by Westword Magazine is Denver local, Trajikk. John Lee became a resident artist under DJ name Trajikk for Triad Dragons Entertainment, the producers of Global Dance Festival, and has lit up the Denver Nightlife scene. Trajikk has established himself as trustworthy Hard Dance music act, delivering an exceptional performance with every appearance. You can catch this heavy bass local at the Global Summit Stage on Saturday, July 22nd!

Covex
Last on our list is Brendan Bell of Covex. This dream style producer was bred in Boulder, Colorado and will be bringing you all of the “chilled out” vibes this weekend. Bell curates an immersive experience with his signature melodic, indie sound. After being featured in Illenium’s Ashes to Ashes mix series for his remix of Ember Island’s “Can’t Feel My Face,” Covex is becoming a must watch up-and-comer in the Denver music scene. Download his new single “For You” or listen to it live (hopefully) this Friday, July 21st at the Tundra Stage.
If this list wasn’t enough, you can catch even more Colorado locals at The Amazon stage. Resident Timba will take part in the brand new silent disco installation on Friday and fan favorite, Aaron Bordas on Saturday night.
