DECADENCE 2017 MUST-SEE ARTISTS:
Night One – Dec 30th
Bassnectar
Bassnectar returns to Denver for yet another Decadence throwdown before he jets to Atlanta for his own NYE bash. Be sure to get your spot early so you do not get Lost In The Crowd.
Gramatik
You Don’t Understand, Gramatik is a Colorado favorite and a grizzled Decadence vet. The opportunity to get down to the low-tempo funk and bass should never be passed up.
Get Real
The party is going to get real when the power duo of Claude VonStroke and Green Velvet takes the stage. Bring your dancing shoes, your finest moves, and get ready to Mind Yo Bizness.
Space Jesus
Space Jesus is a New York-based electronic music Space Boss. The DJ’s firm roots in hip-hop are apparent in most of his productions. With a focus on bass-line synths, commanding beats, and futuristic feels, Space Jesus injects his signature sound on every sub-genre he graces.
Night Two – Dec 31st
Armin van Buuren
Armin van Buuren is a born perfectionist, striving to stay on top of the scene he has helped build. This is a man driven by an unbridled and relentless passion for music. As the flag-bearer of the trance movement, he is one of the most influential figures in EDM worldwide. Even though he lives as one of the world’s most popular DJs, he has always remained a down-to-earth guy. Armin van Buuren is constantly on the move, whether creating music in his studio or en route to his next show around the globe.
For more than twenty years, the Grammy-nominated Dutchman has been living to the rhythm of his own international success. His five-time #1 position in the “DJ Mag Top 100 DJs Poll” has been the result of his loyalty to fans, creativity in the studio, perseverance with which he hosts his weekly radio show ‘A State of Trance’, and the energy he brings to crowds.
Galantis
Galantis’ debut album Pharmacy was released June 2015. Since then, the album reached No. 1 on the Billboard Dance album chart on the strength of hit singles like Peanut Butter Jelly and Runaway (U & I). It went gold in three countries and has streaming numbers upwards of 430 million. The group’s popularity continues to grow after every live show thanks to their infectious energy. Fans are also fascinated with The Seafox, the mysterious creature who encompasses all things Galantis.
Odesza
Harrison Mills (CatacombKid) and Clayton Knight (BeachesBeaches) began recording together after meeting at Western Washington University. There was instant chemistry, and the pair quickly carved out a distinctive, heady sound of glitched-out vocals, visceral melodies, and ear-gripping drums. Odesza will bring fans to Higher Ground when they take the stage at Decadence 2017.
Rufus Du Sol
Australia-based RÜFÜS creates atmospheric indie electro dance-pop. Formed in 2010, RÜFÜS features the talents of guitarist Tyrone Lindqvist, keyboardist Jon George, and drummer James Hunt. The trio quickly released two EPs, RÜFÜS in 2011 and Blue in 2012. In 2013, they delivered their debut full-length album Atlas on Sony. Atlas topped the Australian charts before the group quickly followed with their Desert Night EP.
As their international exposure increased, they ran into complications with the use of their name in the American market, forcing them to change it to Rüfüs Du Sol in the United States. RÜFÜS returned in 2016 with their sophomore full-length album Bloom, featuring singles You Were Right and Like An Animal.
