Your festive season just got a little bit rowdier. Claus VonStroke is taking over SirusXM’s holiday airwaves on December 24th and 25th for 36 hours stuffed full of musical pressies. With exclusive sets recorded at Campout West and brand new mixes from the upcoming Campout East’s Selectors, this is a Holiday Special not to be missed.
In October of this year, DIRTYBIRD de-camped to California for the third sold-out DIRTYBIRD Campout with All Your Favorite DJ. Relive that magical sundrenched weekend from the dreariness of Grandma’s basement pull out with sets from Matthew Dear, Mija’s FK A Genre takeover, the raucous Desert Hearts crew, the boss man himself Claude VonStroke, Lux Grove, Gene Farris, Elevator Musik, Ardalan & Worthy, Shiba San, Walker & Royce, Coyu and more.
2018 sees the Birds head East. For those stuck inside freezing their tail feathers off this December, picture yourself frolicking in the Florida sun in February, reliving Summer Camp memories of yesteryear at the inaugural DIRTYBIRD East. We’ll preview the festivities with sets from Bot, Dateless, Billy Kenny, Ryan Forever, MK, Will Clarke, Eli Brown and more.
As if that wasn’t enough they’ll be a special Claude VonStroke Best of 2017 Countdown show, a surreal sonic journey courtesy of a Barclay Crenshaw takeover, and of course, a classic Holiday Happy Ending courtesy of the West Coast Campout’s Family set.
To make things even more jolly today Claude has also announced the Games and Activities Lineup for Dirtybird Campout East. Attendees will be treated to a full run of East Coast Exclusive Games and Activities like a wild take on Alligator Wrestling, a Double Dutch jump-roping workshop, the Hyphy Hula Hoop Championship, a daily roller skating party at SuperB Owl Roller Rink, an Ax Throwing Workshop,, a no-experience-necessary 3-Day Swamp Survival Series, knot-tying at Learn The Ropes, Food Eating Contests, Saturday Morning Dancefloor Breakfast, Tarot Card Reading, the Hide in the Swamp leatherworking workshop, and a SuperB Owl Party & Show national football extravaganza with a special Justin Martin pre-game show!
And of course, all your favorite Camp Favorites will return as East Coasters compete alongside their color teams to bring home the Golden Dirtybird Egg. From Costumed Canoe Races to Arts & Crafts, to Tie-Dye, to Totem Crafting, to Yoga lead by a leading group of West Coast and Floridian yogis, Campers get rest assured that there will be no rest at Campout East! In true Campout fashion, it is without a doubt that Campers will see some of their favorite Counselor DJs out on the fields with them sharing the glory of a trip down memory lane.
