It’s finally here, the moment we have all been waiting for. Insomniac has finally released the first phase of the EDC Week 2019 lineup and it is a doozie. Not only have they brought in some of the largest electronic dance music names, but they are throwing down at some of the largset venues in Las Vegas. This year’s EDC week will be held from May 15-22, to celebrate the week leading up to EDC Las Vegas 2019.
The Artists
In terms of the EDC 2019 lineup, there is something for everyone, from the hardcore lover to the trance and house lovers. Some big names include Martin Garrix, Sunnery James & Ryan Marciano, Ally Fila, Ferry Corsten, Andrew Rayel and David Gravell.
Not only have the artists been dropped, but the location of where they are playing have also been released. Some acts that attendees are encouraged not to miss are Rufus du Sol at the Encore Beach Club, Ookay and Duke Dumont at the Daylight Beach Club at Mandalay Bay Resort Casino, and Illenium at Hakkasan Nightclub.
EDC Week celebrates the week leading up to and through Electric Daisy Carnival Las Vegas. Though separate from EDC Las Vegas, EDC Week features the same kinds of high-profile names as the festival.
The Venues
Aside from having a huge lineup for the week, EDC is taking it a step further for attendees. The Insomniac crew has rented more than 18 of Las Vegass’ most notable nightclubs, casinos and day/pool bars. Festival goers that are attending EDC week will have their pick of event locations including:
- Nightclub at the Palms
- Grand W&W Marquee Dayclub
- Intrigue Nightclub at the Wynn Las Vegas
- Aria Resort Casino
- Kaos Nightclub
- Downtown Las Vegas Events Center
- MGM Grand
Each ticket is sold separately and are likely to sell out fast. Click here to check out to the full lineup and snag tickets for the events. Even if people have bought tickets to the event EDC Las Vegas, they will be required to buy individual tickets for each EDC Week event that they would like to go to. Some noteable ones that are going to sell out quick are Illenium at the Hakkasan and the special guest at Kaos Nightclub (rumored to be Kaskade). Be sure to keep an eye out on Reddit, Twitter and Instagram for any leaks of who will be leading the surprise sets too.
About EDC Las Vegas
In addition, EDC Las Vegas 2019 takes place at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway from Friday May 17 – Sunday May 19. The festival features state-of-the-art lighting, pyrotechnics and sound design, large-scale art installations, fireworks and much more across eight different stages. Also, the theme for this year’s Electric Daisy Carnival is kineticENERGY announced by Bill Nye The Science Guy.
Tickets are still for the festival as well as for Camp EDC, an immersive camping experience within walking distance of the festival. However, Insomniac has not announced the EDC Las Vegas lineup yet.
