Preview: Electric Daisy Carnival Las Vegas 2018

Electric Daisy Carnival Las Vegas returns May 18th-20th 2018

It’s that time of year again. Festival season is in full swing, and Electric Daisy Carnival Las Vegas returns in just a few short weeks. This time a little bit earlier than usual, May 18th-20th 2018. That’s not the only change the festival is bolstering for fans though. This year the festival returns with a few tweaks and some significant differences to past years. Nevertheless, fans can expect Insomniac to provide a fantastic lineup and an unforgettable weekend.

Pasquale and the crew have some awesome plans in store for fans, starting with the addition of camping. The festival features a campground and gives fans the option to purchase either a ShiftPod2 tent for the weekend or a pass to bring their own RV to the show. The festival also boasts an earlier opening time, and the return of a Hard Events curated stage.

Change is on the horizon

Positioned just outside the festival is Camp EDC. It features a nearly endless list of amenities. Campers will enjoy The Mesa, three massive shade structures featuring different experiences under each one. They will be able to enjoy everything from fitness activities to wellness workshops and spa treatments. In addition, campers can also enjoy a pool to cool off during the day. Furthermore, the campground features a pre-party and parties all festival long, starting with a kick-off party featuring Excision. Space Yacht, Insomniac Records, and Brownies & Lemonade will also host parties throughout the weekend.

The new dates for the festival bring it a month earlier and into cooler temperatures. It also allows for a unique opening ceremony to take place on the lawn of the Cosmic Meadow stage earlier in the day. This change is expected to be welcomed by all. It will give headliners the option to arrive earlier as well as help to ease the traffic into the festival each day.

After a three year break from the festival, Hard Events is also returning to host the cosmicMEADOW stage. In 2013 and 2014, Hard Events brought significant talent to their curation of the stage. Their lineup for this year signals nothing short of a return of that incredible talent. A-Trak, Borgore, San Holo, Zeds Dead, and a host of other big-name talents will help the Hard Events crew rock the cosmicMEADOW.

The Lineup

As usual, Electric Daisy Carnival Las Vegas is returning with one of the most massive and stacked lineups around. The festival has delivered a lineup that’s sure to leave every headliner mouthwatering; Diplo, Martin Garrix, Seven Lions, and Gorgon City to name a few. This talent-packed lineup will ensure that every fan is busy nonstop. Check out the full lineup in the image below. The lineup by stage is also available on EDC’s website.

As fans can see, this year’s EDC Las Vegas is shaping up to be bigger than ever. Get your tickets here, but get them before its too late. EDC LV is 97% sold out. “Headliners” can also purchase tickets through the festival’s reseller.
