Without COVID-19, hundreds of thousands of people would be making their way to Las Vegas for the three-day festival this weekend. With EDC Las Vegas currently postponed to weekend of October 2, many people are bummed about the lack of weekend plans. No need to worry though! Virtual EDC will be happening this weekend in place of the physical festival.
This virtual live stream will begin this Friday, May 15 at 5 pm PDT and continue until 2 am PDT. The festival will end on Sunday, May 17, at 2 am PDT, concluding a weekend of amazing music.

Tuning In to Virtual EDC
There are three ways to catch virtual EDC.
- The first being Insomniac’s Twitch page.
- Next up, YouTube.
- Finally, if you have a VR headset and want to be fully immersed in virtual EDC, check out the stream on Littlstar. The streams will all be the same, so choose your favorite, turn down the lights, and watch your favorite artists turn your living room into a rave.
Virtual EDC has partnered with In Place of War to promote Rave Recovery. Rave Recovery is a relief fund that was specifically to help dance music fans that have been impacted by the COVID-19 crisis. A portion of the proceeds earned from virtual EDC will go to support In Place of War’s COVID-19 Emergency Fund. This fund supports some of the world’s most vulnerable and impacted communities from this pandemic. If you’re able to donate, you can do so HERE. In Place of War is a non-profit charitable organization and therefore your donations will be tax-deductible!
In need of help due to the COVID-19 outbreak? Applications for grants will open Monday, May 18. Applications are reviewed on a first-come, first-serve basis and are limited to US residents only. You will have 12 days to completely fill out the application. The application will then be reviewed and you may be contacted for more information by those reviewing your application.
