About Forbidden Kingdom Music Festival 2019

This year was the inagural Forbidden Kingdom Music Festival. The festival took place on February 16th and 17th in Boca Raton, Florida. This new dubstep music festival offered one of the most extraordinary lineups I have had a chance to experience. Artists like Excision, Dion Timmer, 12th Planet and Adventure Club were all names on the lineup for the 2019 event.

Entering Forbidden Kingdom

The Forbidden Kingdom Experience

Entering Forbidden Kingdom was a breeze with friendly staff greeting you on the way in. The first thing you will notice is the excellent placement of all vendors around the entire event. The amazing dragon on top of the stage breathing smoke. They also had access to great bathrooms, we all LOVE that aspect. The crowd was filled with joy, dancing and enjoying the event throughout both days.

Event Overview

The Weather

Forbidden Kingdom was planned perfectly with clear sunny skies on both days and plenty of areas to be able to rest under the shade in the trees and benches with overhangs on the side allowing you to enjoy the show in comfort. They even had a lakeside view that was breathtaking and a great place to take a break from the action.

The Stage and Venue

This was a one stage festival with a beautifully created dragon over the stage breathing smoke. The sound was fantastic throughout the festival feeling the bass pulse through your body, keeping you dancing all night. The laser show was spectacular at the end of the night when Excision and Dion Timmer closed down day two with some massive bass music.

The Artists

By far my favorite up and coming artists to see at the show was Tynan & Kompany, Putting on an amazing bass heavy set. Followed by Sullivan King which was nothing short from amazing. Switching from heavy dubstep, to Guitar, to Screaming keeping you on your toes the entire set.

Sullivan King

The main headliners included Excision on day one and Excision B2B Dion Timmer on day two. The Bass kings left everyone itching for more with heavy bass tones and a spectacular laser show. At the end of the festival Forbidden Kingdom took guests by surprise with an amazing firework show to close out the festival. It was close to even being better than any 4th of July firework show I have ever seen.
