The new venue is Sports Authority Field at Mile High in Denver Colorado. Sports Authority Field will offer even more to attendees. Global, Past and Present
Global Dance Festival has been a staple event for the Rocky Mountains for fifteen years. It has consistently offered energetic and uplifting vibes to those who attend and has grown massively year after year. Global boasts lineups that always impress and a venue that is as beautiful as the show itself. Global Dance Festival has taken place at the infamous Red Rocks Amphitheater in Morrison, Colorado up until this year. Red Rocks Amphitheater was placed under new noise ordinances in 2015, causing a stir. Although patrons have marveled at and will miss this beloved Rocky Mountain gem, 2017 is time for an exciting new direction. Global tells of much to offer with this new venue:
“For two electrifying days, attendees are welcomed to embark upon a new adventure and explore a massive playground as the grounds at Sports Authority Field at Mile High are transformed into a true, all-encompassing festival experience that includes multiple massive stages, larger production than ever before, food truck village, a carnival atmosphere complete with multiple rides and carnival games, silent disco, a huge decked out VIP village with private bars, bathrooms and lounge seating areas, shade zones, lockers, stage-side cabanas, an art park with massive installations and room for more attendees than ever.”

Lineup and Coverage
The 2017 lineup is massive and includes many superstar acts of the electronic music industry. Some to note are Deorro, Kaskade, Hardwell, Porter Robinson, ZHU, and Colorado top DJ Trajikk. These artists have been booming for a long time. Deorro hit top charts with his banger, “Five Hours.” Kaskade consistently brings some of the most uplifting dance tracks of all time. He is a veteran of Global and the electronic music scene. Hardwell and Porter Robinson are also electro vets. In 2013 and 2014, DJ Mag dubbed Hardwell number one DJ in the world. In 2015, Porter Robinson was named Artist of the Year by the popular network MTVu. ZHU has been making a name for himself as an artist since 2014. He has reached top charts with songs like “Faded,” and has worked with artists such as Kaskade and Skrillex. DJ Trajikk has been of high demand for years, especially in Colorado. Trajikk currently holds residency at the #2 top nightclub in the United States, Beta Nightclub.
With new horizons and many other electronic talents to name, it is clear that Global Dance Festival 2017 will be an extraordinary and immersive experience.
