It’s the Ship China to Set Sail 13-17 June 2019

Asia’s largest festival at sea, It’s the Ship, will now add It’s the Ship China to its ranks. This adventure at sea will sail from Shanghai, China to the beautiful island of Shimonoseki, Japan. The adventure of a lifetime awaits you from 13th to 17th of June this year. Guests 18+ and up can enjoy this five-day, four-night party vacation that promises an experience like no other.
Come sail the high seas from Shanghai. You’ll be on a luxurious cruise ship with non-stop music, thrilling side activities and crazy pop up parties with your best friends, the best shipmates you could ask for. Something SHIPTASTIC will sail your way, as you embark on this brand new adventure at sea.
Artist Lineup
The artist lineup is quite a treat. Fans of Dash Berlin will recognize Jeffrey Sutorius, as he plays as one half of the former duo. Blasterjaxx will bring their high-energy, hard-hitting melodies to the ship. Meanwhile, Dutch DJ Sander Van Doorn promises a party perfect for electro-house and trance lovers alike. In the meantime, fans of late DJ Avicii‘s sound will love Dutch DJ duo Lucas and Steve’s music. Lucas and Steve will be sure to get the dance floor started with their bright, happy melodies. OWSLA artist Kill the Noise meshes a combination of dubstep and other genres to please the headbangers on board. Future bass/glitch music lovers will be delighted to see k?d as part of this stacked lineup as well.

The artist lineup is pretty unique, with many DJs hailing from different parts of Asia such as Singapore and Malaysia, to name a few. Exploring new sounds and faces on ship is a great way to open your ears and discover fresh artists. Big-room/electro house is flourishing alive and well in Asia. You’ll soon discover how hype the music will be as you take a journey down EDM’s memory lane.
What’s Provided in the Cruise Rate
Full five-day and four-night accommodation will be provided. Additionally, the event will be a round-trip cruise: from Shanghai to Shimonoseki, Japan, and back to Shanghai again. There will be 20-hour dining at selected restaurants. Along with that, free drinks will be provided at all times; however, only non-alcoholic (and non-carbonated) drinks such as coffee, tea, juice and water.
Cruise attendees will enjoy entry to all of It’s the Ship China events. Their events include all pop-up and theme parties, with dj performances. Finally, guests can enjoy access to general facilities on the ship which include these engaging activities: Aqua Park, Virtual World, the sports center, shuffleboard, squash and many more.
Types of Lodging
Guests can choose rooms from three views: interior, ocean view and balcony. There will be a variety of suites available: ocean view, balcony, and deluxe. For those who want the premium luxury experience, you can opt for the executive and family suite and the royal suite. Twin-sharing, triple-sharing and quad-sharing rooms will be offered. Prices per person range from RMB (Chinese currency, also called Chinese Yuan) 5,500 all the way up to 22,400.
Ship Culture
Expect fun-filled pop-up parties on board. Here is your chance to put on that crazy outfit you’ve never had the guts to wear. Get wacky and weird with the themes such as the Onesie party to the Block party. Photo opportunities lie in wait for you with the professional photographers on board as you dance the night away.
You could have the chance of bumping into your favorite artist—anything is possible on It’s the Ship China. While you’re in line for breakfast or having a dip in the pool, you just might find yourselves rubbing shoulders with them. If you like, you can even sign up for some artist-led side activities, such as yoga, whiskey and cigar sessions—even some good ole’ beer pong, to name a few.
