Kyle Watson Promoting ‘My Machines’ Concept on U.S. Tour

Kyle Watson's 'My Machines' concept vibrantly collects a beautiful blend of old and new edits and mixes.

Kyle Watson is one of South Africa’s many amazing, world-class house DJs/producers. He is currently in the middle of his ‘My Machines‘ U.S. Tour where he has unveiled a cool concept. This U.S. tour is named after that concept and it combines his musical work into an expansive collection.

This collection from the ‘My Machines’ concept allows Kyle Watson to curate an all-original set at his tour stops and other performances. He will provide that concept once more when he takes the stage again on his next tour stops at San Francisco‘s The Midway and Sound Nightclub in Los Angeles on October 13 and 14 respectively. Check out the tour poster below.

More about the ‘My Machines’ concept of Kyle Watson

Each show on Kyle Watson’s ‘My Machines’ U.S. tour will feature a blend of the fresh and familiar, the old and the new, and a dash of personal edits and VIP mixes. This beautiful blend is an exclusive part to his collection throughout his 15-year tenure as an artist. Alongside the auditory component of the experience, Watson has put together a visual element and brand that echoes the concept of ‘My Machines’ including custom visuals.

Kyle Watson’s own words about the concept

“I have so much music on my hard drive and a My Machines set is a way of showcasing that work. At a My Machines show you’ll be able to hear a brand-new record never played before alongside a popular track from 2015. And then digging deeper into the archive I’ll play something from 2011 right before I drop a private VIP mix from a 2019 record. It’s just a really cool way of moving through my catalogue and gives fans a chance to hear some of their favourites that they might not normally get a chance to hear”.

An eventful 2022 for the artist

Kyle Watson has had an eventful 2022 so far. He most recently performed to 15,000 people at Brazil’s So Track Boa in June. On top of festival appearances at CRSSD and Lightning In A Bottle, he headlined a sold-out show at Academy LA, and a direct support slot at Gorgon City’s sold-out The Brooklyn Mirage show. Furthermore, he kept the release wheel continuously going with records on hau5trap, Solotoko, Armada, and his own imprint, Box Of Cats.
