Headbangers rejoice, for the 2019 Lost Lands Festival lineup has arrived. And it is all that you and your bass-addicted heart desire. Names like Black Tiger Sex Machine, 12th Planet, Badklaat and dozens of others will be in Legend Valley, OH for what promises to be an epic three days of music.
About Lost Lands
For newcomers unfamiliar with Excision‘s Lost Lands Festival, it is a bass music lover’s festival spanning three days, along with multiple stages and dinosaurs. No, not like the old Sinclair statue you rode as a kid. Instead, there are fully-animated dinosaurs which you can ride, climb, or dance on if you please. The festival after three years continues to grow. Indeed, its first year sold over 25,000 tickets alone. Excision’s mission is to provide a festival catering to headbangers by featuring their favorite artists.
Ohio is home to a few major music festivals, but the music and sheer decibels can only be described as incredible. Held at Thornville’s Legend Valley venue this fall, Lost Lands Music Festival will not disappoint. Excision will be taking it up a notch as he brings more than 100 artists to the dinosaur-themed madness. As if all that is not enough, Excision will be playing a full two-hour set himself.
Reliving the Festival through Playlists
After the first Lost Lands Festival in 2017, Excision released a playlist of 24 tracks full of bangers for people to relive the hype of the festival. Known for his mind-blowing, dark, bass-heavy sounds, Excision’s music is the kind to blow out your speakers to. So he’s giving you all access on SoundCloud to the ‘after festival’ mixes, ranging from various artist live sets to all of Excision’s 3 different sets. Bring your earplugs to protect your ears to prepare for the loud music. Lost Lands Festival is definitely not for the faint-of-heart.
The Live Stream
But the excitement does not end with the dinosaurs, and bass-pounding tracks, and headbanging, or incredible sets. If you cannot make it to this year’s festival, make like Couchella and pull up your Youtube. Every year, Excision also makes the festival available to anyone with Youtube access by setting it all up on the Live Stream.
The Experience
This is a tent-only event for camping. Early access passes are also available for a few extra bucks. Tickets, camping passes, early access, and VIP can be purchased here. Excision also offers several different add-on’s for festival attendees, including RV add-ons and early arrival that grants festival-goers access to the grounds on Wednesday instead of Thursday.
