Minus Zero Winter Sport and Music Festival Announces 2018 Headliners

Minus Zero Winter Sport and Music Festival will be back at it on April 6-7. The festival returns to a new home at Mount Snow in Dover, Vermont. Last year, a sold-out crowd of thousands hit the slopes at nearby Stratton Resort. It was a weekend full of sound and snow.

Minus Zero has already announced headliners Odesza, Rezz, local favorite Marvel Years, as well as previous Minus Zero headliners Zeds Dead and Stratton, VT native Pierce Fulton. Fans will have to hang in as another headlining artist, and full lineup is expected to release in the upcoming weeks.Minus Zero 2018

Minus Zero 2017 featured three stages of music and over the top international and emerging electronic music acts. Previously, fans had the pleasure of seeing acts such as Bassnectar, Zeds Dead, GRiZ, Yookie, Claptone, and Pierce Fulton.  There was also an abundance of other talented electronic artists including Illenium and Brightside.

The festival got its start four years ago in Los Angles, CA.  Minus Zero has since been providing a unique festival experience unlike any other in the world. When it first launched in L.A., artists like Jamie Jones and Lee Burridge headlined. From there, they moved to the East coast in April  2016. Minus Zero held its inaugural Vermont festival at Stratton with Deadmau5 and Kaskade headlining.

Odesza, who is no stranger to headlining positions of top-notch, world-class festivals, is coming off of their A Moment Apart Tour. In celebration of their new album release, A Moment Apart, fans can expect a few songs (or more) from the new album performed live. Odesza is sure to blow the crowd away while serenading us with their live drumming.

Rezz has recently been climbing the ladder and seeing headlining slots at smaller festivals nationwide. This female producer gives an exceptional touch to every festival and concert she performs. She plays unique industrial sounds and has mind-blowing (or brainwashing?) production.

Pierce Fulton, a Stratton, VT native, and 2017 Minus Zero headliner is also set to return to the Minus Zero main stage. The versatile Pierce Fulton has a unique progressive sound, made up of live and electronic alike. His music is sure to rattle the soul of anyone suffering the winter blues.

Last, but certainly not least, Cory Wythe, better known as Marvel Years, is well known for his glitch-hop/electro-soul dance music. In addition to being a fantastic DJ, he is also a killer guitar player. His take on electronic music combines glitch, retro-funk, classic rock, soul, jazz and hip-hop in the form of samples, electronic beats and live guitar.

Mount Snow

Minus Zero 2018 attendees will have access to a larger festival main stage with more beautiful Vermont mountain views. Additionally, the festival will include a new heated indoor stage. On top of that, there will also be a new club venue!

Mount Snow will accommodate other amenities for Minus Zero festival goers. These include access to over 5000 hotel rooms in the area. Free shuttle buses will provide fans transportation to and from the festival anywhere within the Minus Zero Hotel network. Additionally, there will be indoor and outdoor pools, a wide variety of food and craft vendors and of course, a multitude of winter sports options. On top of all of that, access to 20 lifts and 87 trails is just a lift ticket away. Mount Snow is a few hours, or a shuttle away from New York, Boston, and other major northeast cities.
