Moonrise Festival Top Artists to Watch

Moonrise Festival is days away and it’s looking like an unforgettable weekend at Pimlico Race Course. This year Moonrise is bringing you an unforgettable lineup. Headliners include RL Grime, Run the Jewels, Excision, and Pretty Lights Live. With an incredible lineup of talent it’s hard to figure out who to see. Lucky for you, we have you covered.


Twenty-year-old Niagara Falls native Isabelle Rezazadeh (REZZ), is quickly making a name for herself. Her signature genre-smashing brand of dark and sinister techno has even given her the nickname“Girlsaffelstein” after the French producer. Despite being self-taught, her edgy productions have caught the attention of Deadmau5 & Skrillex. Rezz recently released her debut album “Mass Manipulation” and she is certainly an artist to look out for. She is set to play Saturday the 12th at 6:30pm in the Solar Dance Tent.


Goldfish is an EDM duo hailing from Cape Town, South Africa. Goldfish consists of Dominic Peters and David Poole. The duo creates dance music with elements of jazz and African music. The duo has released a number of albums, including “Perceptions of Pacha” and “Get Busy Living”. Their eclectic style of music is one you don’t want to miss out on. Goldfish is set to play Saturday the 12th at 4:30pm on the Celestial Stage.



California-based Ookay burst into the scene when both his early releases on Ultra Records hit the top 10 on Beatport. Since then he’s worked with some of the greatest producers in electronic music while developing a signature style that weaves across genres while always returning to a hard-hitting trap beat. Catch Ookay on Sunday the 13th at 4PM at the Stellar Stage.


Louis the Child

Chicago based producers Robby Hauldren and Freddy Kennet have made a name for themselves in recent years. Since their hit singles, “It’s Strange”, “Fire”, and “Weekend”, the duo has gained popularity with their unique future bass sound. The duo is set to play Saturday the 12th at 3:30PM at the Stellar Stage.


Tim Wu (Elephante) is from Ann Arbor, Michigan and is currently based in Los Angeles. His interest in music started at an early age and taught himself to play guitar and was trained to play classical piano. He majored in economics at Harvard University and after graduating he wanted to involve himself in the music industry with an interest in electronic dance music. His style is a fusion of primarily progressive house with some other genres mixed in. Catch Elephante Sunday the 13th at 6PM on the Celestial Stage.
