ORIGINS 2018 is amping up to be a night filled with amazing talent. Lane 8, Nora En Pure, Duke Dumont, and others gear up to give us a night full of deep house love.
The event, running from 3 p.m to 11 p.m, will take place at Rawhide Event Center in Chandler, AZ on November 17th. The earlier set times will give festival-goers ample time to find a safe way home after the night’s festivities. This is the first festival of its caliber for RBDeep, who says they are more than ready for the occasion.
“ORIGINS is really a full weekend as we kick things off Friday night with John Digweed at Shady Park, followed by the actual festival on Saturday and a Lane 8 afterparty to follow called ORIGINS Nightfall.” Says Relentless Beats Founder Thomas Turner. “On Sunday we return to Shady Park for a day party with Justin Martin.”
This will be a weekend lined up with fantastic shows.
ORIGINS 2018 Festivities
Arizona fans are in for a treat as ORIGINS brings to stage the unique styles of Nora En Pure, a.k.a Daniela Niederer. She transcends the House genre with an almost euphoric style. She just released an EP in November called Polynesia. The 4-track EP is a beautiful mixture of what SiriusXM calls a ‘melodic bliss.’ Fans of Nora should know, she will be performing a special sunset performance right here at Origins 2018. It’s exciting!
Duke Dumont hasn’t played in the valley since April 2017, and it’s way long overdue. He is a musician, songwriter, DJ, and record producer. He reached both #1 and #2 in the UK singles chart for “Ocean Drive” and “Won’t Look Back.” He was nominated in 2014 for the “Best Dance Recording” in the 56th Annual Grammy Awards for the track “Need You (100%)”.
Additionally, both Lane 8 and Justin Jay make it back to the valley, bringing the deeper sides of House. Both artists will play at Origins 2018 but each will have individual performances throughout the weekend to keep this party going and to give you several options to experience them live. Lane 8 is an electronic producer who signed with the deep house label Anjunadeep. Justin has landed several releases on labels like Dirtybird, Culprit, and Pets Recordings. Other great artists to perform at ORIGINS inauguration include Autograf, EDX, and Sean Watson.
With this in mind, check out tickets and more details at Origins 2018.
The RBDeep sub-brand has been making waves this year. Bringing great talent to the desert including Claude VonStroke and Justin Jay. Doubling, possibly tripling, the number of their performances. They use a plethora of the local venues, helping to feed into the local economy. It’s about giving back to the community and their amazing fan base, and RBDeep spares no expense on presentation of these fantastic underground artists.
“The response we have received from the RBDeep brand is reflective of the growth in interest of deeper music, which made this the right time to take it to the next level,” says Thomas Turner. “This is just the beginning for Origins, and I can’t wait to see it evolve in the years to come.”
