Paul Kalkbrenner Commenced an Audiovisual Set For The Midway

Paul Kalkbrenner's unique audiovisual set brings a POV view for the fans to see his live angled mirrors set-up.

For more than two decades, German techno icon Paul Kalkbrenner has brought a refreshing audiovisual experience to stages around the world. Bringing his latest live set to North America for a 5-date tour, Kalkbrenner sold out renowned venues like New York City’s Irving Plaza and Montreal’s MTLEUS. Performing an immersive 2.5 hour-long set, Paul Kalkbrenner was backed by angled mirrors instead of traditional LED screens, giving fans a bird’s-eye view of his live set-up.

A unique way to bring concert-goers behind the decks, the techno producer arrived in San Francisco to create an intimate experience within The Midway‘s 2,000-capacity dancefloor. Encapsulating his greatest hits throughout his prolific career, Paul Kalkbrenner’s set included tracks from his early catalog such as ‘Altes Kamuffel’ and ‘Sand and Sky’ released on Ellen Alien’s BPitch label, to more recent favorites ‘No Goodbye’ and his remix of ‘Techno Monkey’. This experience ensures everyone who was there to have unforgettable memories there.
