Parookaville: July 20 – July 22, 2018
Now in its fourth year, Parookaville is set to welcome some of the world’s hottest dance music artists across multiple stages to its dance “city” in southern Germany for a spectacular weekend of music and fun.
This year, Parookaville will see 80,000 dance music fans gather from Friday, July 20th to Sunday, July 22nd, 2018 at Airport Weeze just 80km from Dusseldorf. Having grown significantly even since its 2017 edition, Parookaville is firmly establishing itself as a contender among the biggest dance music festivals in Europe.
The festival organizers have successfully garnered a close relationship with many artists that are happy to return year after year. Steve Aoki and Martin Solveig have been strong supporters of the festival ever since its first year and both will return for their fourth consecutive performance. Dutchmen Nicky Romero and Hardwell will make their Parookaville debut in 2018.
Joining an already impressive list of artists performing across the three days are Axwell /\ Ingrosso, Robin Schulz, David Guetta, Martin Garrix, Zedd, Armin van Buuren and Don Diablo.
Salvatore Ganacci, KSHMR, Sven Väth, Excision, and New York duo Sofi Tukker will all grace the Parookaville stage this year. In addition, over 200 artists will gather at Airport Weeze during the weekend.
The official festival warm-up will begin on Thursday, July 19th. This will consist of Desert Valley, a veritable playground for festival goers. Mixmash Records will host The Desert Valley Stage alongside label boss Laidback Luke for a much-anticipated performance.
Access to the festival is easy with the regional Weeze airport located close to the festival site. Rail and bus connections across Germany and the Netherlands make attending the festival stress-free. There will also be a variety of camping options available.
Parookaville is only celebrating its fourth year, but it is a must-see festival for EDM fans in Europe this summer. A limited number of tickets remain, purchase them here.
Parookaville is a city that comes to life once a year, to celebrate the joy of life.It tells the story of time traveler and architect Bill Parooka who has never been mentioned in any history book. No one has ever seen him in real life. But a couple of years ago some of his followers, the Billders, found some drawings created by his vision: CELEBRATE THE JOY OF LIFE. So they began to spread his vision and built up a beautiful city. A city where Billders and all kinds of people come together to escape everyday life and to dive into an utopian world to keep the legend of Bill Parooka alive.
