Supernatural Festival 2017
This weekend OneEDM joined the ghouls and ghosts at Supernatural Festival in Denver, Colorado. With eight stages of music, the festival was a packed house. Global Dance even invited some of the edm’s top talent for their newly reborn festival, featuring artists like Alesso, Martin Solvieg, and Terravita to slay the party all night long. Supernatural Festival was absolutely the bigger, better festival that Global Dance claimed it would be.Of the eight stages that filled the venue, 6 showcased local talent. This is something Colorado is a hotspot for. Each of the smaller stages seemed to keep a crowd all night long. The Phantom Academy stage, hosted by the Global DJ Academy, excelled with a packed dance floor all night long.
The home for all things bass music, otherwise known as the Resurrection Chamber, was packed from front to back. Partygoers seemed to fill the room more as the night went on. Terravita took the crowd on a journey with there bass-heavy sound and filthy rhymes. Black Tiger Sex Machine brought us to church and had us on our knees praying to the bass gods with their dark fusion of drum and bass & dubstep. The crowd loved it and at the end of the set everyone came together for a “family photo” with the group. Global Dance absolutely outdid themselves with the curation of this stage.
The main stage was the Immortal Arena. If Global Dance picked anywhere to prove that Supernatural Festival is bigger and better, this was the place. The huge main stage was flanked at either side with a giant reaper and there were chains strewn about from the top of the stage to the roof of the venue. Party goers were tricked and treated to the classic sounds of Martin Solvieg, The bass heavy sounds of Carnage, and so much more.
The venue took on an overall dark tone with the themed stages. Attendees seemed to really enjoy the new and improved massive main stage. There was plenty of seating flanking the dance floor to relax. Patrons took on an overall excited tone about the event all night long. Global Dance was definitely successful in their pursuit of making a bigger and better show out of their Halloween event. From the exciting new look of the festival to the masterfully curated lineup, Global proved yet again what Denver party goers already know about them- their the best at what they do.
