Last Thursday, friends and family of all ages made their way out to Rawhide Event Center for KISS FM’s SIKK SHOW. With artists such as Kiss FM’s own DJ Smylz, Phoenix-based YouTube sensation Alex Aiono, and the legendary electronic-pop duo, The Chainsmokers.
DJ Smylz and The KISS FM crew kept the hype going as fans anxiously waited for The Chainsmokers to make their way out to the stage. The charismatic Alex Aiono won over the crowd with his guitar and beautiful voice.
The Chainsmokers – 11/30/2017 – Phoenix, AZ
Whether you were indulging in kettle corn and lemonade, or checking out all the sick Chainsmokers merchandise, there was something to keep you busy as the anticipation of the night built. The electronics company, JBL, held an exciting contest outside the building. Each participant had 3 tries to throw a ball and hit a target of their choice in hopes of winning a JBL Speaker!
The massive VIP area was packed and the crowd was filled with people ranging from all ages. Whether this was your first concert or 20th, it definitely was one to remember. As the clock struck 10:15 the entire building was screaming for joy as their favorite duo made their way out. Playing their most popular jams, and the crowd singing back every lyric word for word – It was a night of pure bliss. Instead of mixing their songs together the duo played each song individually and talked in between, making each song whole and extra special. The stage production had tons of CO2 and streamers. The last confetti blast was the cherry on top of a great night. Unfortunately, the night did end earlier than the crowd had expected. Hopefully, The Chainsmokers will make their return to Phoenix again in the near future.
