Europe is home to many great top EDM music festivals. It can be hard to decide which of these events taking place this summer is the best of the best. Really, it mostly comes down to personal taste when deciding what music festival you enjoy the most. However, these music festivals are hosting the most popular music artists at some of the finest locations in Europe and are considered exceptional in the music scene.


Taking place on an island in Budapest, Hungary, Sziget is home to one of the best locations for a music festival. Their lineup includes names such as Ed Sheeran, Foo Fighters, Twenty One Pilots, Florence + the Machine, Martin Garrix, The 1975, Jungle, and Catfish and the Bottlemen. This music festival will take place for almost an entire week this summer, spanning from August 7th to August 13th, 2019.


Dedicated solely to electronic music, Tomorrowland features The Chainsmokers, David Guetta, Adam Beyer, Martin Garrix, Carl Cox, A$AP Rocky, Armin Van Buuren, and Vegas & Like Mike. Taking place in Boom, Belgium, you can attend Tomorrowland July 19-21, 2019.

Exit Festival

Exit Festival in Novi Sad, Serbia, is one of the most notorious music festivals out there. It is held in the Petrovaradin Fortress and will feature Greta Van Fleet, The Cure, Tom Walker, Carl Cox, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Jeff Mills, Amelie Lens, and Maceo Plex. You can attend Exit Festival this summer from July 4th to July 8th, 2019.

Ultra Europe

Swedish House Mafia, Carl Cox, The Chainsmokers, Marco Carola and Above & Beyond make up just a fraction of the awe-inspiring global talent already performing at this year’s ULTRA Europe on 12-14 July in Croatia and now the pioneering European festival has delivered an exceptional Phase Three lineup.


Held in Primavera, Spain, Primavera Sound is dedicated to the alternative music scene. The lineup includes Cardi B, Solange, Erykah Badu, Interpol, Tame Impala, Future, J Balvin, and Janelle Monáe. This music festival will take place early in the summer, from May 30th to Jun 1st, 2019.
