Toronto Fashion Week Features Hometown Model & DJ Miss Tara

Toronto Fashion Week

Toronto Fashion Week returned to the city on February 5-7, providing world-class fashion, art, and music. The exclusive three-day festival hosted renowned designers like Austria’s Nikki Wirthensohn Yassemi as well as Toronto’s own dance-music DJ and model Miss Tara.

Dance-music DJ and model Miss Tara kicked off the Narces Runway Show wearing a fishnet bodysuit with bold black plumage alongside the Narces designer. Models followed behind her decked out in sequined flared trousers, organza cropped jackets and tulle gowns. Re-live the event with behind-the-scenes as well as Q&As with participating models here.

After walking the stage, she played her latest music to the audience as models showed-off Narces latest fashion designs. The young and talented DJ played out her most recent release, a remix of Sam Bruno’s  “So What” featuring Rockie Fresh. Atlantic Records recently released the highly anticipated track and fan could not be happier.

Miss Tara also dropped a few songs off her upcoming album ‘Love’ that is set to release in the coming months. The award-winning artist also dropped her festival-smasher “Heat” featuring Ashni, along with her track “Remedy” with Simms.

As one of Toronto’s top DJs, Tara Mobayen has not only seen great success as an artist but is also a professional model. She has competed in several Miss Universe competitions and was awarded Miss Photogenic Canada in 2009.
