Exciting news to all Phoenicians out there! A new venue is about to open in Downtown Phoenix called Track Club. The hype builds as the lineup is announced for this fresh new spot (former home of the DeSoto Central Market).
From the minds of Chuckie Duff, Thomas Turner, and Damon Scott, after months of development, Track Club will officially open in October. Duff owns EQ Properties, while Turner is a leader in the electronic dance music industry with Relentless Beats, meanwhile, Scott displays an impeccable level of taste through Rattle and Rum. The transformation for Track Club started this summer, as the three partners combined wits to form the Valley’s thrilling new concept.
Featured Artists for the Grand Opening of Track Club
The series will kick-start October this year. For the first official event, Gerry Gonza and Friends will take the stage for a highly-anticipated First Friday performance on October 4th. Consecutively, on October 5th, What So Not will follow suit.
In November 9th, major headliner and beloved artist Kaskade will take the stage. Kaskade’s Redux Tour is well-known for its sold out tour dates. Following this, mysterious balaclava-clad artist Malaa will perform on November 10th. Additionally, announcements will follow as performances are added to the roster.
The venue not only hosts events and shows as a chic nightclub, but will also feature a lounge and patio. This eatery will be open 4pm-2am Tuesday through Sunday featuring local djs every night with no cover.
Venue Layout
Attendees can rejoice for the new addition to Phoenix’s nightlife scene, as Track Club is poised to be the latest IT venue. Track Club will feature three distinct areas, most impressively a 12,000 sq. ft. lounge and nightclub. Adding to this will be a remodeled patio on the corner of Roosevelt and Central. A restaurant will also be launched as part of phase two of development.
Venue Concept
Track Club is significantly set to bring back the nostalgia of dance culture iconic nightclubs. Furthermore, there will be an athletic aesthetic as the base for the overall vibe. Indeed, the three partners and their backgrounds in their fields have proven to be a power combination, with a keen eye for every minute detail.
The ticketed nightclub section of Track Club will see an eclectic mix of high-caliber djs and performers three to four nights a week. This will span a wide variety of genres, from hip-hop to Latin, to pop and rock, and of course, electronic dance. Undeniably, there will be music for all tastes.
Lounge guests can enjoy specially-crafted cocktails. They will be able to enjoy a vibrant locally-driven music scene while sipping on fine liquor and spirits. Arts and entertainment will be featured, as music will pump from a custom crow’s nest dj booth, six nights a week.
