Untold Festival 2018
Untold Festival 2018 released a dramatic two-minute video announcing the second wave of artists due to appear this year. Chapter four of the four-day festival held in Cluj-Napoca, Romania will continue its annual tradition of taking over Central Park on the first weekend of August.
The festival has sold over 35,000 weekend-tickets so far for this year. However, expected attendance is to be in the hundreds of thousands as last year recorded over 330,000 tickets sold. You can currently purchase 4-day general passes here for approximately USD 160.
Second Artist Announcement
Among those announced were three additional main stage headliners: The Chainsmokers (live), Jason Derulo (live), and Tiësto (DJ). This will mark the first Romanian appearance for The Chainsmokers, who have continued to roll out singles following their 2017 album. Their presence at Untold will undoubtedly be a significant moment for the group and the festival, as well as the fans.
On the other hand, Jason Derulo will make his second major Romanian appearance since his performance at Neversea 2017. Perhaps indicating Untold’s intention to diversify their lineup with a pop and hip-hop hitmaker, Derulo is one of the only non-EDM artists announced thus far.
Untold 2017The Mainstage, along with the Galaxy and Alchemy stages, will host a plethora of techno and bass music. German techno heavyweights Paul Kalkbrenner and Pan-Pot have been added to the Galaxy Stage. Furthermore, they will be performing live sets. Kalkbrenner has recently released the first single off of his upcoming album Parts of Life which will be out in time for Untold.
Though Pan-Pot has not dropped new music or remixes in several months, they have been touring extensively. Their presence at Untold is sure to delight underground techno fans.

It was also chosen as Brand of the Year by the International Advertising Association Romania in 2015. Since then, Untold, the most significant festival in Romania, has become the international ambassador of Romania and Transylvania.
