Voodoo Fest 2019 Drops A Spooky Lineup

Voodoo Music and Arts Festival (Voodoo) is returning this year, bigger and better than ever for Halloween weekend on October 25-27, 2019. Voodoo Fest 2019 has just dropped a killer lineup. The event is to be held at the famous Festival Grounds of City Park in New Orleans, LA. The festival is featuring huge name artists within the EDM world, and even in the music industry in general. This year, headlining names at Voodoo Fest 2019 include Guns N Roses, Post Malone, Beck, Bassnectar, Brandi Carlile, The National, etc. will perform.
Voodoo Fest 2019 Lineup
The artist lineup for Voodoo Fest 2019 definitely does not disappoint. Notably on the EDM spectrum, Bassnectar is going to be making a spooky appearance this year. He’ll definitely be bringing all the wooks to the yard. To top it off, Rezz will also be debuting at this festival (after what seems like a slight disappearance from the festival circuit this year). Voodoo will be the perfect place to smash out some dark and creepy, Space Mom, vibes.
For the EDM lovers that are looking for the funk, look no farther. Big Wild and Big Gigantic are on this year’s festival ticket. Bringing their signature funky sounds to the jazz capital of the world, these are two not-to-be-missed sets.
If EDM is not necessarily all attendees are interested in, Voodoo also provides some diversity. Rock legend, Guns N’ Roses, will headline the event. Following closely is Brandi Carlile, who was also recently a headliner at Bonnaroo this year. Along with that, Hippo Campus will bring their alternative beats.
Worry not, fellow bass babies, there will be also some heavy-hitters gracing the stages of Voodoo this year. Whipped Cream and Peekaboo are both on this year’s lineup. Peekaboo has made huge waves in the EDM world recently with collaborations with artists such as Bassnectar. Whipped Cream has also been taking the festival circuit by storm. She has created amazing, hard-hitting sets that pull together not only her own music, but also popular oldies that always bring the crowd to a screaming crescendo.
If these artists are not enough to make anyone whip out their wallet and buy tickets, other notable artists are Denzel Curry and Japanese Breakfast. Japanese Breakfast was also recently at Bonnaroo. Sheck Wes, Young the Giant and Bring me the Horizon will also be playing at Voodoo Lineup 2019.
The Voodoo Music & Arts Experience
As if the lineup was not good enough, Voodoo packs just as big a punch for the experience. Not only does the event bring together diverse artists on the lineup, but it also brings together food and experience to create a fully immersive experience.
The Food
Located in the gumbo and, arguably, food capital of the world, this festival brings the food to the attendees in their Forked Up Food Court. Not to mention, the night before the event, there will be the Feast Under the Stars. This will be a fresh-made buffet by some of the top chefs in town.

The Activities
Voodoo is located in the iconic New Orleans City Park. This gives attendees enough room to enjoy the music, and the activities. Guests are encouraged to review and enjoy installations that were created to enhance the experience. The grounds also include an amusement park, the haunted mortuary and the Brew Dat Beer Hall. Of course, the festival also has an entire section for shopping called The Market Place. This area features incredible shopping including hand crafted goods, art and so much more.
Overall, Voodoo Festival 2019 is shaping up to be a banger. The event has not only created a well-rounded experience for the festival attendees, but the festival also has a variety of music to please diverse tastes. Make sure not to miss this year’s Voodoo festival, it’s going to be one for the books.
