ULTRA Worldwide leading the way
It was announced in early 2018 that Ultra Worldwide had acquired the Winter Music Conference as well as the International Dance Music Awards (IDMA). Organizers from the world’s top music festival brand promise to restore the Winter Music Conference as the place for industry leaders and producers to collaborate and develop future projects. Furthermore, the Faena District – designed with art and culture in mind- is the perfect creative atmosphere to promote music in this way.
The Faena District a “Utopia”
The Faena District spans four blocks on the historic Collins Avenue. This little neighborhood within Miami is like a city of its own, offering attendees contemporary style and massive multi-use event spaces. The Faena website itself claims to be building “utopias”. Expect nothing less than the best, and perhaps, what may be only a once in a lifetime experience.
Two areas provide attendees with interactive experiences. One for industry professionals called the Industry segment. The second, for music lovers seeking to make the most of their time at the conference, called the Access segment. WMC explains the excitement:
Now officially a part of Miami Music Week, the new WMC will now offer two distinct segments targeted at industry professionals as well as music consumers looking to learn more about this exciting industry and the music, technology, and culture that powers it.

Ticketing
First of all, Access badges are available on the WMS website for just $150. This is not a bad price considering the opportunity to learn from the world’s industry experts. Options for attendees who are well on their way in the music industry can apply online for industry registration status.
