DiskoLab presented Wynwood Fear Factory in Miami for the first time in 2016, and now Miami is getting excited again by another visit from the most massive music and Halloween themed event. With an attendance of 10,000 and artist like Flosstradamus, Armin van Burren, and Borgore, it was thought to be their best, but Wynwood Fear Factory gets the chance to scare and thrill us again for two nights, October 28th and 29th in the ominous RC Cola Plant. This year’s event is said to be bigger and better than last year by presenting special guest just for Florida and A-list superstars like Porter Robinson, Wiz Khalifa, Yellow Claw and so much more.
DiskoLab has presented many events like Robin Schulz and Friends Pool Party, Spinnin’ Session, No Sugar Added and more. Miami Music Week is one of the biggest events DiskoLab is involved in besides the new Wynwood Fear Factory.
The group opened its doors on Friday, January 18th in 2013 by Gianfranco Dossena and brought artists like Benny Benassi, Oliver Heldens, Above & Beyond and much more to our south Florida grounds.
Wynwood Fear Factory isn’t your average haunted house, being 140,000 sq ft and its expansion in the production as well as atmosphere. It was announced on September 14th and is sure to create the most unforgettable and undeniable experience with haunted attractions, scare zones, performers, music, and vendors from some of Miami’s favorite food spots.
Fans are excited about the massive lineup that was fully released on October 2nd with every artist being new to the event besides Oliver Heldens and DJ Sub Zero. Among the many artists performing at Wynwood Fear Factory some to point out would be:
Porter Robinson is a self-taught producer and musician from North Carolina. Starting his journey at the age of 12 while being influenced by the upbeat tunes of Dance Dance Revolution and his love of anime and Japanese culture. He was able to create hits like “Language” in 2012, “Sad Machine” in 2014 and “Shelter” in 2016. Robinson will be joining Wynwood Fear Factory on Saturday, October 28th.
Yellow Claw is a duo from Amsterdam, Netherlands with artist Jim Aasgier (Jim Taihuttu) and Nizzle (Nils Rondhuis). The pair produces Electro House and Traps music, creating songs like “Till it Hurts” in 2014 and “City on Lockdown” earlier this year. Yellow Claw will be performing on Sunday, October 29th at the Wynwood Fear Factory.
DJ Snake (William Grigahcine) born in Paris, France started DJ-ing at 14 years old and producing at 19 years old. William got his name Snake from being a graffiti artist in his youth and always able to evade the police. DJ Snake has produced songs like “Turn Down for What” with Lil Jon and “Lean On” with Major Lazer. DJ Snake will be playing on Sunday, October 29th.
Sub Zero is one of the two returning DJs to the Wynwood Fear Factory. His passion started at a young age in the mid 90’s in France where he would plan and learn his trade well alongside artist like David Guetta. It wasn’t until 2007 that he decided to make Miami his home. Sub Zero (Olivier Amie) is one of the first French Hip-hop DJs to Spin in Miami.
Dave Sol began producing events in 1998 in Canada where he was born. It wasn’t until 2008 that he decided to expand into the US before moving to Miami the following year. In 2011 Dave Sol produced his single “The Mask,” where it hit #15 on UK Buzz Charts. Performing on Saturday, October 28th at Wynwood Fear Factory.
Snooko (Eric Jimenez) passion for EDM and DJ started in 6th grade when he came across a song by Skrillex. Eric is a fisherman by day and a DJ at night where he plays what he calls “fish music”. His first major gig was Life In Color in 2016, after that gig he has been booked numerous times at Club Space and Club Heart supporting DJs like Ookay, Trollphace and even rappers like Lil Yatchy.
