Bobby Shann is becoming a Tech House sensation with the consistency of his releases being held to a top standard. His discography includes ‘Call Me Papi‘, ‘Break It Down‘ and more recently ‘Double Vision‘. With an artist where creativity flows in all aspects in life, it is interesting to see what they get up to outside of music. We caught up with Bobby to find out exactly that.
What would your typical weekend involve?
Definitely bringing the good vibes behind the decks or a good BBQ with family and friends.
Do you have any other hobbies?
Back in the day, I used to play soccer but as time went on, I felt like a stranger on the field. However, listening to music is one of my favourite hobbies. There is no day where I do not listen to music or dig into finding new music. Besides producing music, this is my favourite hobby.
Where would be your dream place to travel to?
Well, I really cannot say that I travelled so much and there are a lot of beautiful places. Miami has inspired me the most but who knows. I think there is a lot more to explore.
If you were on death row, what would you have as your last meal?
Oh wow, urmm..I really don’t know. Maybe a big plate of various fresh seafood.
What are the top three things on your bucket list?
Return to Miami, perform around the world, and produce more music.
If you did not produce music, what would be your dream career?
Good question. Maybe something with fashion designing but definitely something that has to do with art.
Have you got any cool life hacks to share?
I think the best life hack is networking. Building relationships with important people is one of the master keys to life. Whether if it is the music business or financial business, it does not matter!
Do you have any superstitions?
Yes, I am a life artist. People are always telling me that because even in bad situations or strange parts of life, I can master all out by myself. This is something I always had a powerful mind for.
What are your favourite series to watch at the moment?
I’m back in my Dragon Ball fever mode. During quarantine, I took the time to watch all Dragon Ball episodes and movies that exist in the storyline row. Yeah, sometimes I am a nerd too! But I love how the story is written, especially the anime effects, and the story can also be emotional. It is crazy!
Favourite film of all time?
I do not have a favourite movie, to be honest!
