Sydney City Limits
Austin City Limits announced that the successful festival will go down under in 2018. Secret Sound, the team responsible for Splendour In The Grass and Falls, will be bringing the festival to life. The Aussie team referred to its lineup as “hotter than a Bunning’s sausage sizzle and ten times as tasty.” There is no doubt we all want a sausage that hot.
Jessica Ducrou from the Secret Sounds Group said:
“Direct from Austin, Texas and the flagship Austin City Limits, sister event Sydney City Limits looks forward to presenting some of the most awesome international and Australian acts around. Offering up the best in show, it’s very much going to be a celebration of Sydney itself – the food, local artists and the community that makes it such a great place to live and visit.”
The festival will take place on February 24th of 2018 and will be one day. At the top of the lineup is French electronic duo Justice, the iconic Beck, and the French rockstars of Phoenix. Followed by these legendary names, Car Seat Headrest, The Libertines, and Thundercat, fill out the rest of the lineup, along with a handful of other names. The four stages and 30 bands will no doubt be the main attraction of the festival, but it also boasts some other features like amazing food, art, and local talent and vendors.
