AVICII: TRUE STORIES Presented by Levan Tsikurishvili

Piece of Magic Entertainment announced today that Avicii: True Stories by Levan Tsikurishvili will be premiering on October 26th in selected theaters worldwide for one night only. Tickets went on sale on Monday, September 11th. Avicii: True Stories shows the audience the raw truth behind the success of Grammy-nominated producer, songwriter, and artist Avicii (A.K.A. Tim Bergling).

Levan Tsikurishvili followed Tim Bergling for over four years and got to capture fly-on-the-wall-like footage of his experiences and thoughts. This documentary shows from the beginning, all the way to the joy of success, including Avicii’s chart-topping global hits. It also breaks down the walls and shows the hard choices faced, Bergling’s physical and mental health struggles, and all the subsequent struggles that all lead up to his shocking decision to quit playing live shows last year.

“I wanted to do a brutally honest film about Tim as a person and not only about Avicii. Everybody knows Avicii, but very few people know Tim. I think this documentary shows Tim’s struggle and strength of character. Being a worldwide superstar artist is not as easy as it looks on Instagram,” Tsikurishvili says.

Featuring appearances by colleagues such as Chris Martin of Coldplay, Nile Rodgers, David Guetta, and Wyclef Jean, the movie Avicii: True Stories is a cautionary tale that explores the complicated nature, as well as the intensity, of fame from the artist’s point of view, as it is a film for Avicii’s die-hard fans all around the world. Avicii: True Stories is followed by a 30-minute concert film of Avicii’s final live show in Ibiza August 28, 2016. Check out this link for some clips and videos on Avicii’s last show ever.
