Beta 2.0: Denver’s Hottest EDM Club Comes Back October 3
Sneak peek postponed, third day added
Beta Nightclub
The internationally recognized Denver nightclub, Beta, closed its doors at the beginning of 2019. The club helped pave the way for the now-booming EDM scene in the area. Denver, also known as Bass Capital, has grown to become a major destination for the best and brightest in the industry. Beta Nightclub played a key role in that development over the years. Not to mention proximity to the famed Red Rocks Amphitheater which resides next-door in Morrison.
Beta Nightclub has proudly hosted some of the biggest names in EDM including Tchami, Rusko, Big Gigantic, Benny Benassi, Tiƫsto, and many more. Many questions arose during the abrupt closing of the famed venues, and rumors spread quickly about its fate. Despite talk of new ownership, Beta 2.0 will be under the direction of previous owners Brad Roulier and Mike McCray. Roulier is also famously known for founding Beatport.
Sneak Peek October 3
Originally scheduled to open this weekend, September 28-29, Beta ownership postponed their sneak peek event until the first weekend of October. The event is highly anticipated and marks the official return of Beta Nightclub. Announced alongside the postponement is an additional day of the event. Rather than a Saturday-Sunday party, there is going to be events Thursday through Saturday of the following weekend.
The announcement above states that anyone who purchased tickets may either attend the new dates or receive a full refund. The event is going to be 21+ and will surely be a spectacle. With a history a strong as Beta’s, the owners are looking to maintain the hype but tack on a new style. You can get tickets here for the Sneak Peek event.
This first event is not the official reopening; that will take place on Halloween. The grand opening will feature a performance by Knife Party as they stop in Denver for the Lost Souls Tour. The preview event next weekend will set the tone for the new Beta 2.0, but the first major show will solidify it. Stay tuned as we follow the renewed nightclub and determine if it truly withstands the test of time.
