Insomniac’s ‘Academy LA’ Takes Over ‘Create Nightclub’

Academy LA
‘Create Nightclub’ closed out 2017 with a huge New Year’s Eve performance from R3HAB. Now, one of Hollywood’s most popular nightclubs is being taken over by festival geniuses and promoter masterminds, Insomniac. It was announced via Insomniac’s social media that the promoters would be revamping the club with new sound production, lighting, and a new name. The brand new club, dubbed ‘Academy LA’, will host its grand opening on January 12 with help from Krewella.

To round out their grand opening weekend, ‘Academy LA’ will also feature performances from DVBBS and a special Basscon takeover with TNT (Technoboy ’n’ Tuneboy). But the massive announcements do not stop there. Just in the next month, legends like Benny Benassi and Cedric Gervais will be hitting ‘Academy LA’, as well as The Magician and Quintino in February.

Over the past few years, ‘Create Nightclub’ has hosted some of the biggest names in EDM. Tiesto, Armin Van Buuren, Zedd, Fatboy Slim, DJ Snake and more have graced the Hollywood club’s stage. On the other hand, Insomniac has curated some of the biggest music festivals all across the globe. This includes Electric Daisy Carnival, Countdown, Escape, and Dreamstate just to name a few. With huge accomplishments on both sides of the spectrum, it is easy to see that this partnership will be a match made in heaven. Everyone can expect amazing things to happen at ‘Academy LA’.
