Two sold-out Live Performances
The highlight of the weeks’ events was without a shadow of a doubt his two sold-out live performances at the RAI Amsterdam. This space produced the most spectacular canvas for an outstanding display of visual and acoustic art created by Martin and his team.
His first performance on Friday saw Martin perform an 18+ event. On Saturday the show was one of his now customary all ages event. Martin didn’t search far beyond his close network of friends for his supporting artists as Matisse & Sadko, Justin Mylo, Brooks, Florian Picasso, Julian Jordan and CMC$ performed across both nights.
As Martin burst on to the stage to a medley of his biggest tracks. His boundless energy and enthusiasm showed he was happy to be home. Throughout his set, Martin bounced out hit after hit from his extensive catalog of original productions. These included ‘The Only Way is Up’, ‘Byte’, ‘Virus’ and ‘Tremor’. To add softness to his set he dropped ‘Gold Skies’ and the stunningly melodic ‘Pizza’.
Midway through the set, Martin was joined on stage by Matisse & Sadko. Together they performed their latest collaboration ‘Forever’. This track which was released during ADE on the 20th October. Listen to it here
Closed the Set with his most emotive track
The Dutch superstar closed out his set with perhaps his most emotive, melodic and vocally impressive track and collaboration with Bebe Rexha ‘In the Name of Love’.
The breathtaking lighting and visual performance came from the minds of Lorenzo Depa and Gabe Fraboni. These two exceptionally talented and visionary creatives have been collaborating with Martin for his performances of recent times.
This was a performance to be experienced from the back. Where you could fully absorb the ferocity of the art that was before your eyes.

The week reached its ultimate climax when Martin took the No. 1 position in the DJ Mag Top 100 DJ’s poll for the second successive year. He was presented with his award by friend and fellow producer David Guetta.
Although somewhat controversial this ranking is further testament to Martin’s dominance of the dance music scene. His record label is blossoming into a home for a wide and varied selection of artists. And it seems clear that Martin is intent on making his mark on both the artistic and business aspects of the industry.
