Armani Exchange introduces Dutch DJ Martin Garrix, as the new face of the Fall/Winter 2017 eyewear campaign. At only 21, the famous musician has hit many milestones including DJ Mag’s top 100 DJs naming him the number one DJ in the world for two consecutive years. Not to mention he was signed with record labels including Spinnin’ Records and Sony Music before he found STMPD RCRDS.
Now, in addition to being the world’s #1 DJ and producer it seems becoming the new face for Armani Exchange is the icing on the cake. Only becoming exposed as a musician in 2012, Garrix has accomplished a lot in the past five years. Garrix shows people that they can accomplish anything they are compassionate about with determination and hard work.
In the promo videos, Garrix showed off the new AX Sunglasses with his fun and youthful vibe. No wonder Armani Exchange chose Garrix to be their next supermodel. Appearing to aim at more youthful demographic in the 16-second promo video, Garrix displays the same fun and energetic vibe he would give off on stage, ending with the tagline “new energy, same spirit.”
The video integrates what Garrix is passionate about, his music, with the stylish AX sunglasses. The promo is trendy yet classy going from black and white to color. Viewers will also see Garrix wearing his headphones, moving to the music in an energetic and playful manner. It wouldn’t be a surprise if many of his fans follow the trend into the AX Sunglasses moving forward.
Garrix has had many amazing life experiences, which has made him a phenomenal individual. At his age and considering everything he has achieved, he could be and is an inspiration to many. With all the accomplishments Garrix has achieved there is no telling what journey life will take him on next.
