An unknown man at this year’s Firefly Music Festival decided to have a little too much fun. Stripping down naked, streaking down the venue, and knocking over sound equipment was his top priority. Official reports are that “there were no reported injuries at the Bud Light tent and no reports of assaults connected to the incident.” However, a string of tweets after searching “naked firefly” on Twitter tells a different story.
A music festival is a place to let go, be yourself, and enjoy tons of great music. Just make sure to do that responsibly unlike this man, who later found himself behind bars.
Dover police Cpl. Mark Hoffman says the man was arrested on misdemeanor criminal mischief charges and accompanied to a medical tent due to his intoxication levels. The streaking came the same day as police reported at least two dozen phones had been stolen at the music festival. Furthermore, Firefly was headlined by Panic! At The Disco, Post Malone, and Travis Scott. Also, with support from Zedd, Kygo, DJ Snake, Passion Pit, Death Cab For Cutie, and more. The hectic unorthodox behavior was handled professionally by Firefly authority which does ensure professionalism.
