Above & Beyond Release Acoustic Version of “Sahara Love”
Above & Beyond’s Forthcoming "Acoustic III" Album Due for Release in Summer 2020

“Sahara Love” is the latest single from Above & Beyond’s upcoming “Acoustic III” album. This summer will see the release of the record. On it, Above & Beyond, Zoë Johnston, and producer Bob Bradley share a reimagined take on the song.
“Sahara Love” has always had a live band’s spirit. The track is taken from Above & Beyond’s 2018 acclaimed album, “Common Ground.” Its indie-leaning sound makes it a great match for this musical approach. The acoustic arrangement champions this further. Heavily influenced by the soulful sounds of the 60s, this version showcases the group’s sophisticated and refined side.

For those who aren’t familiar with this stripped-down side of the trio, this is something that’s truly spectacular. It features their hits in a bare yet fulfilling way. Above & Beyond’s music intrinsically tugs at your heart-strings, but add an unplugged element to it, and it becomes unforgettable. It’s also something wonderful how their club and festival hits can be elevated by replacing basslines and synths with acoustics.
It takes musicianship skills for artists to pull this off, but Tony, Paavo, and Jono have done this several times. So much so, it’s in their repertoire to ensure future singles get the special acoustic treatment in a refined manner. This is what fans have come to expect from Above & Beyond, and each time, they’ve exceeded expectations .
For the eager Above & Beyond fans, “Acoustic III” is currently available for pre-order on the Anjuna music store. Also, fans and interested listeners can follow them on Facebook, Twitter, Soundcloud, and Spotify.
