Alex Midi Releases “Send”
In today’s society, there’s this desire to have a cell phone in your face constantly being blinded by countless apps, social media, and messages. Alex Midi captures the idea of cellphone addiction within his new track, “Send.” People suffer from smartphone separation and anxiety, AKA Nomophobia. Midi’s music video is about a rehab for cell phone addicts. The video captures different stages of smartphone separation. The entirety of the video, spreading awareness about cell phone addiction.

His song, “Send,” has an amazing sound as well. The beat and lyrics are super catchy. The lyrics have a lot of meaning behind them that anyone in today’s society could relate to. With that said, this is definitely a track everybody should listen to at least once.
Who is Alex Midi?
Alex Midi is a music producer/DJ from Mexico. He’s been creating music in the industry for 17 years under the Deep House and Electric Pop genres. He uses sounds created by synthesizers, samplers, and beatboxes to keep his production unique. Artists including Kraftwerk, David Morales, and Pet Shop Boys are some of his greatest inspirations. He has opened for several top DJs like Alesso, Hardwell, Groove Armada, and Felix Jaehn. Also, he has produced tracks for several Latin artists including Belanova, Aleks Syntek, Belinda, Paulina Rubio, Maria Jose, Fey, La Ley, and Moenia.
Soon after releasing his solo project under the label AFTERCLUV in 2016, a radio station in Mexico invited Midi to conduct a weekly show, “Aftercluv Sessions in Alfa”. The show focused on the EDM scene in Mexico and was one of the top-rated radio stations in Mexico.
In February 2017, Midi was on the line up at EDC Mexico and it certainly turned out to be a great success for him. Midi was shown copious amounts of love from the festival in addition to receiving good reviews and recognition. He’s currently promoting singles and presenting his #AMDJSET all over the world.
