Continuing what seems to be a massive year for the uplifting guru, Amir Hussain brings us “Wild Card”, a new release off of Ram’s Grotesque Music. Currently sitting at #20 on Beatport’s top trance charts, Amir Hussain delivers what could certainly be one of the greatest uplifting trance tracks of the year.
“Wild Card” features a variety of catchy melodies, from the intro synth and pluck section to the main lead heard in the breakdown. The vibe has an incredibly high energy that can only be described as amazing. The warm pads and the sampled vocal’s background melody in the breakdown take the listener to a serene mind-state. The drop greets us with an energetically synchronized lead and a booming kick drum, while a quietly mastered piano sonata rings off on the top end of the track.
“Wild Card” is the perfect showcase of Amir Hussain’s ability to create a simple, yet incredible, melody-driven track. Upon a first listen, the detail in this track is breathtaking. The layers in the track work so well together and bleed into one big cohesive sound. “Wild Card” retains all the necessary elements from the typical uplifting track, but accomplishes it all with finesse, putting some of the bigger names to shame. It is tracks like “Wild Card” that have cemented Hussain in the trance scene and have given him the massive momentum he’s had.
Remember this one from back in 2004? This little rework of a gem of a track was on ASOT yesterday.Hope you like 🙂
