Notorious duo Axwell /\ Ingrosso released the first track of their upcoming EP “More Than You Know” today, May 12th.“Renegade” beams in with seductive synths and vocals that are both bouncy and consistent. This four track EP seems to be taking Axwell /\ Ingrosso into different territory from their popular 2015 radio hit “On My Way”. They are proving to be a versatile duo. This famed pair seems to be expanding the sound fans know and love, while keeping the essence of what makes their sound so entrancing and powerful. That is a glorious feat.
The Feels
So far with “Renegade” and “More Than You Know,” this EP has a heartfelt and edgy, truthful mean to it. It seems to be an EP about redemption, to which most everyone can relate. “Renegade” feels like soaring through space and stopping for thrills along the way with the one you love. “Baby I’m a renegade. Baby you’re a firestorm.” The synths and effects work well together, creating an incredibly atmospheric result. Some parts feel like having fun aboard a thrill ride under LED lights. This song will accompany many wonderful summer moments.

Axwell /\ Ingrosso
Swede’s Axwell /\ Ingrosso became a duo in 2014 with DefJam Records, previously being members of Swedish House Mafia. The trio of Axwell, Sebastian Ingrosso and Steve Angello split in 2013, but all three are still creating amazing tracks and remaining strong. Axwell and Ingrosso made waves together pre-duo in the electronic music industry with their collaboration, “Together” in 2005 via Axtone Records. Axwell has previously produced under the alias, OXL. Although Axwell and Ingrosso make great music on their own, it’s safe to say that together they are a more powerful music entity.
