Mexico’s #1 DJ Duo Boombox Cartel Introduce New Single, ‘Máquina’

Boombox Cartel's 'Máquina' is a bass-booming banger

Known for their innovative merging of Electronic, Hip-Hop, and Latin influences, Boombox Cartel have dropped their newest single, ‘Máquina. The single is the DJ duo’s first 2020 release and it is their debut single with Create Music Group. Inspired by “The Cell Tour”, ‘Máquina’ is the continuation behind Boombox Cartel. ‘Máquina’, which translates to “Machine” in Spanish, draws inspiration from Boombox Cartel’s Latin roots. It is a unique representation of the relentless and undeterrable approach Boombox Cartel takes with their production.

“Rage Against the Máquina”

‘Máquina’ effectively blend compelling vocals with a rhythmic build up and later, a cunningly syncopated drop joined in. ‘Máquina’ is certainly Boombox Cartel’s most diverse creation to date. Meanwhile, the duo have worked hard producing high-quality releases with leading labels like Mad Decent, OWSLA, and Spinnin’ Records.

Additionally, they also secured prime festival slots at Lollapalooza, Global Dance Festival, and Electric Daisy Carnival. Having more than earned the reputation as the #1 ranked Mexican DJ duo in the world, “Máquina” is just the tip of the iceberg in introducing fans to a whole new side of Boombox Cartel. ‘Máquina’ released on March 20, 2020 on all streaming platforms.

Since then, Boombox Cartel have released nice bangers like “Alamo”, “NBD”, and “Remember”. Their continuing success in the electronic music industry proves that Mexico also produced amazing DJs as much as the northern neighbor. Let’s see what else the dubstep, hybrid trap, and bass duo will release in the near future.
