Bougenvilla releases their latest energetic single “Amazon”.
The Dutch duo already has a number of killer releases from this year, from their remix of “Understand Me” by Conor Maynard and CMC$ to their original track “Onik”. Now, they released “Amazon”, a track that’s guaranteed to kick any gathering into high gear.
A little energy starts off the track, getting you in the right mood. Then, it fades into a quieter variance of few notes, arranged in a rhythmic pattern perfect for buildup. The drop then explodes with an almost tropical feel. Xylophones normally aren’t so high energy, and neither are a lot of songs with tropical tones. But then “Amazon” comes along and it makes you wonder “Why don’t more songs use xylophones for their drops?” A good question indeed. This song is like going to Hawaii, but arriving by way of jetpack instead of coach. Forget going to a random dorm on a Friday night – this song is the party and it never quits.
Bougenvilla is quickly making their mark in the global dance scene. They’re impressing industry icons such as Don Diablo, Oliver Heldens, and Ummet Ozcan. And with songs like this one coming out, it isn’t hard to see why.
“Amazon” is out now via Spinnin’ Deep. Stream or download the track here.
