Diplo Premieres Official Music Video For “Look Back” Featuring DRAM
Diplo releases his new track “Look Back” featuring the singer and songwriter DRAM. The song is the first to be revealed from the upcoming California EP, which will be the first solo work Diplo has produced since his Revolution EP.
“Look Back” takes DRAM’s energetic hip-hop talent and slows it down a notch. The down-tempo track streams with his soulful lyrics over a set of instrumental beats. With the combination of slow and steady drumbeats and soft strings, a kick of blues emerges.
The plot of the song takes a twist to a past heartbreak, but a deciding factor to never look back and have all eyes on the future. Through his soulful vocals, DRAM sings about having strength and determination never to look back even if the path traveled on is unknown.
The announcement of the new EP was released last week when Diplo, MØ, and Goldlink performed “Get It Right“ on the Jimmy Fallon show. In addition to the newest single, “Get It Right” will also be featured on the new EP. The three artists took the stage with a choreographed performance. Watch the full performance here.
