Fall Out Boy- Thnks Fr Th Mmrs (The Lost Boys Remix)

In 2007, Fall Out Boy released one of their anthems, Thnks Fr Th Mmrs. The song was an instant hit, and since then the song has taken over and is still an absolute fan favorite most everywhere. It’s wild that even though ten years have passed since the original came out, the song is still popular.

Fast forward to today to the Future Bass/Future Progressive duo known as The Lost Boys and their brilliant take on Thnks Fr Th Mmrs. This track totally keeps the original vibe, but the remix has that distinct Lost Boys feel. It’s vibey, intense and so full of energy and new life. It’s emotional and uplifting all at once. The vocals are from the original – and they still make me want to call up an ex and tell them they suck (Thnks Fr Th Mmrs, but not really).

The bass and synths build steadily yet quickly to peak with the vocals from the chorus. As the bass drops, the vocals from the chorus fade out and you hear the percussion synths and more bass. The movement within the song flows like water and the energy is incredible.

The Lost Boys have been described as “two dudes from Southern California who spent too much time making music and not enough time talking to girls.” Clearly their use of their time was worth it. This remix puts such a fresh spin on the original version of the Fall Out Boy song. Music like this is genuinely rare and The Lost Boys really did a phenomenal job on this remix.

They guys have really grown a lot (I’ve been following their music for a while now). It’s so amazing to see them grow and I can’t wait to see what they have in store for the future.

Also, a note from the Boys Soundcloud page:

“Punk is coming back so everyone prepare yourself, the golden age of music is back…”

(I’ve got to say, I couldn’t agree more.)
