“Feel Something” – Excision and Illenium Drop Their Newest Hit

Excision and Illenium are two big names in the dance community, so it comes to no surprise that they’re collaborating again. In addition to these two producers, I Prevail is also featured on this new track. On Friday, April 3, 2020, they released their new song “Feel Something”.
A Quick Look Back at Illenium x Excision

Back in July of 2019, Excision (real name Jeff Abel) hinted at a collaboration with Illenium (real name Nicholas D. Miller). So fast forward to Lost Lands 2019, when the two went back-to-back and dropped “Feel Something” for the very first time. The fans lucky enough to be there were some of the first people to hear their new collaboration.
Dancing Astronaut, a popular EDM source, released a short video of this part of their set on September 29, 2019. Fans went crazy for the preview and immediately started tweeting back at Dancing Astronaut that they needed the drop ASAP. Die-hard bass heads and Illenials have been waiting for another collab since “Gold (Stupid Love)” was released in 2018. This song had an awesome balance of build-up and break-down that blended Illenium’s melodicism with Excision’s heavy bass.
So now onto the exciting part, the song. If you haven’t listened to it yet, definitely go check it out!
“Feel Something” – Illenium, Excision, & I Prevail
By taking I Prevail’s vocals, this song has a new vibe we didn’t get from “Gold (Stupid Love)”. “Feel Something” blends rock, dubstep, and bass to keep the listener on the edge of their seat.
After almost nine months of waiting, fans finally get their fix of this collaboration. What better time to release a song than now when everyone is stuck at home anyways? The wait was well worth it considering the magnitude of the song. This song will be even more amazing live when everyone knows the lyrics. Happy listening!
