GRiZ and Wreckno Celebrate Pride Month with ‘Medusa’

Multi-instrumentalist and producer GRiZ never lets his fans down when it comes to producing the freshest beats in EDM. In fact, if there wasn’t a queer anthem banger before, we can thank him for ‘Medusa’. GRiZ has linked up with producer, rapper and bass DJ Wreckno, and they have formed the ultimate gay dream team to create ‘Medusa’. ‘Medusa’ is a hip-hop fueled track meant to boost the LGBTQIA+ community with confidence during Pride Month. ‘Medusa’ makes the connection, love, and passion that GRiZ and Wreckno share with their fans even stronger. He spreads that powerful message to support and celebrate underrepresented communities.
GRiZ has been very busy while in quarantine by not only releasing the fifth installment of his nasty-dubstep Bangers.Zip EP, but also dropping the first single, ‘Solo’ ft. ProbCause, a 90s-inspired chill summer jam. ‘Solo’ is from his forthcoming Chasing the Golden Hour Pt. 3 – which we are all patiently waiting for. Always using his platform for good, he recently brought awareness and raised funds for Trans Lifeline during his Digital Mirage 2.0 set.

Wreckno is definitely on our radar now and this year he’s one to watch. Beyond support from GRiZ, Bassnectar and others, he has toured all the major US cities. Wreckno is an unstoppable force when it comes to his unique brand of bass music. He has recently donated the proceeds from his track ‘Ass Thrower’ to The Louisville Community Bail Fund. To close out Pride Month, he is releasing ROYGBIV, an EP that features all queer artists. Listen to ‘Medusa’ by GRiZ and Wreckno here!
