Krewella & Yellow Claw Release New Single “Rewind”

The dynamic groups collaborate to give this electrifying beat

Dynamic duos Krewella and Yellowclaw released their song “Rewind.” The track opens with Krewella’s signature vocals giving the track sentiment. The track’s lyrics revolve around time going too quickly, something we know too well thanks to COVID-19.

Both Krewella and Yellow Claw previously collaborated back in 2017 on the single “New World”, which makes “Rewind” their highly anticipated second release together.

Krewella consists of two sisters, Jahan and Yasmine, who made their mark with their debut album, “Play Hard”. The album has been streamed over 130 million times on Spotify and is now a cult classic. In 2016, Forbes featured Krewella on the “30 Under 30” list – that’s pretty cool. They’ve also headlined at festivals like Coachella and Ultra Music Festival. Visual elements as well as live performances serve as Krewella’s hallmark.

Jim Taihuttu and Nils Rondhuis are the people behind Yellowclaw, a true gamechanger in the bass music scene. Since 2013, they’ve been making sure that their singles top the charts. Their debut album “Blood For Mercy” landed at #1 on Billboard’s Heat Seekers Chart, Top Dance/Electronic Albums Chart, and scored an Edison Award – the Dutch equivalent of a Grammy.

I'm a crazed motoring fan and I have been listening to EDM for a major chunk of my life. I'm particularly interested in Dutch house, Progressive house and Tropical house. Is that enough house? My favourite DJs are Robin Schulz, Jay Hardway and Mike Williams.
